-- TRAFFIC ADVISORY NEAR LAX – NIGHTTIME GAS LINE INSTALLATION ON CENTURY BOULEVARD NEAR LAX TO RESTRICT TRAFFIC LANES BEGINNING TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17
 Officials at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are advising motorists that the Southern California Gas Company will begin nighttime construction of new underground gas service two nights this week from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting tonight, December 17 and on Thursday, December 18.  Motorists are advised that Century Boulevard west of Airport Boulevard will be reduced from four lanes to one lane in both directions on an alternating basis each night.

NEARLY THREE MILLION PASSENGERS EXPECTED AT LAX DURING HOLIDAY SEASON; AIRLINE INDUSTRY PREDICTS LAX WILL BE SECOND BUSIEST U.S. AIRPORT THIS HOLIDAY
 Airport officials forecast that nearly 2.97 million passengers will pass through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this upcoming holiday travel season, a 4.1 percent increase over last year’s 2.85 million actual passengers.  The 14-day holiday travel period begins Friday, December 19, and continues through Friday, January 2, 2015.

ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT “HOLIDAY HEROES” BRING SMILES AND TOYS TO LOCAL CHILDREN FROM DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES
WHAT:            Ontario International Airport (ONT) will host its annual “Holiday Heroes” celebration for approximately 100 young students. The students, from theOntario/Montclair YMCA,will be treated to a special holiday feast donated by Delaware North Company, a guest appearance by “Tremor” of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, and a special visit from Santa Claus who will arrive in a City of Ontario Police Department helicopter. Each student will receive a new gift-wrapped toy. All toys for the event were donated by airport employees, on-site companies (e.g. airlines, car rentals, concessions, etc.), and local organizations.

DECEMBER CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS MAY CAUSE PASSENGER IMPACTS
(Los Angeles, California – December 1, 2014) Ongoing construction at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will continue to impact travelers during the month of December as sidewalk closures, roadway lane closures, and in-terminal construction may slow passenger flow. These construction efforts, part of the multi-billion-dollar, capital improvement modernization program underway throughout LAX, will ultimately result in a more modern airport that improves the overall customer experience.

LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT YEAR-TO-DATE PASSENGER VOLUME UP 4%
(Ontario, California – November 26 , 2014)   Passenger numbers atLA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) rose 4.11% from January 2014 through October 2014, compared to the same period last year. ONT airlines served 3,422,524 travelers compared to 3,287,423 travelers during the same period in 2013. Passenger numbers were up 7.68% for the month of October, the largest increase this year.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS APPROVES $18.42 MILLION FOR INGLEWOOD RESIDENTIAL SOUND INSULATION PROJECT
The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today authorized a Letter of Agreement with the City of Inglewood that will result in a grant of $18.42 million in Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) funding for sound insulation.

TWO-WEEK NIGHTLY CLOSURE ON CENTURY BOULEVARD (NOV. 10-NOV. 21) WILL MARK BEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION OF AVIATION/CENTURY LIGHT RAIL AERIAL STATION
Construction of the foundation for the Aviation/Century light rail aerial station that will serve the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project will begin Monday night, Nov. 10. Over the next two weeks until Nov. 21, construction will necessitate closure of the westbound lanes on Century Boulevard between Aviation Boulevard and Bellanca Avenue near LAX nightly Monday to Friday.

REVISED LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT YEAR-TO-DATE PASSENGER VOLUME
(Ontario, California – November 3 , 2014)   Passenger numbers at LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) rose 3.74 percent from January 2014 through September 2014, compared to the same period last year. ONT airlines served 3,062.268 travelers compared to 2,951.876 travelers during the same period in 2013. Passenger numbers were up 8.39% for the month of September, the largest increase this year.
