AEROMEXICO LAUNCHES SERVICE FROM LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO MEXICO CITY
(Ontario, California – March 25, 2015)   LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) today announced that Aeromexico will add roundtrip service four times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday  to Mexico City, Mexico beginning April 6 for travelers wanting more international service.

LAX TERMINAL 4 CONNECTOR PROJECT TOPS OUT, ON SCHEDULE FOR COMPLETION
The new Terminal 4 Connector Building at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) reached a major construction milestone today when workers placed the final structural steel beam atop the building’s frame. Currently on schedule for completion in 2016, the $115 million project consists of a multi-use, multi-level facility that will provide a secure connection between the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) and Terminal 4.

FIRST LAX RUNWAY CLOSURE BEGINS TODAY
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) today closed Runway 7R-25L, the first of four runways currently scheduled for maintenance and federally-mandated Runway Safety Area (RSA) improvements. The one-runway-at-a-time construction work is scheduled to last through 2018 and may cause flight delays similar to those experienced during bad weather conditions.

(Ontario, California – February 27, 2015 )   Passenger activity at LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) was down slightly at 0.21%  in January. ONT airlines served 313,347 travelers compared to 314,022 travelers in January 2014.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RETIRING
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Executive Director Gina Marie Lindsey today announced that after a 39-year career, 33 working in the aviation industry, she will retire. Telling staff “it is time for me to move on to other adventures,” Lindsey discussed her retirement with Mayor Eric Garcetti and Board of Airport Commissioners President Sean Burton and says she will stay on into the spring to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership.

FITCH, MOODY’S AND S&P ASSIGN HIGH RATINGS TO UPCOMING ISSUANCE OF $338 MILLION IN LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT REVENUE BONDS MOODY’S UPGRADES RATING OUTLOOK ON LAX BONDS TO “POSITIVE”
 Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) announced that the three primary investment ratings services -- Fitch Ratings, Moody’s Investors Service, and Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services (S&P) -- all assigned high marks for LAWA’s upcoming issuance of approximately $338 million in long-term revenue bonds on behalf of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to help fund the airport’s on-going capital improvement projects.
