AMERICAN AIRLINES MARKS INTEGRATION MILESTONE WITH OPERATIONS IN TERMINAL 6
  (October 16, 2015 – Los Angeles, California) American Airlines will mark another integration milestone when it begins operations from Terminal 6, effective Oct. 17, in addition to already operating at Terminal 4 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Travelers are encouraged to check the status of their flight on www.aa.com, on the mobile app or their boarding pass prior to heading to LAX for terminal information.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) officials advise motorists that bridge work on the ongoing Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project will temporarily close one lane and a left-turn lane on eastbound Century Boulevard between Aviation Boulevard and Bellanca Avenue beginning TONIGHT, Friday, October 2 at 11 p.m. through Saturday, October 3 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.

LOW-COST, NONSTOP FLYAWAY® BUS SERVICE BETWEEN LAX AND LONG BEACH TO BEGIN IN DECEMBER
(Los Angeles, California – October 1, 2015)  New, low-cost FlyAway® bus service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Long Beach Transit Gallery is scheduled to begin December, following approval today by the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners of a memorandum of understanding with the Long Beach Public Transportation Company.

Airport officials report that nightly repairs that were to begin tonight to the Upper/Departures Level roadway at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) have been postponed to tomorrow, September 15, due to forecasted rain tonight. Passengers and motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow more time to get to their terminals in case of traffic delays.

LAX GATEWAY PYLONS AND CENTRAL TERMINAL AREA LIGHTBAND PROGRAMMED RED, WHITE, BLUE THIS WEEKEND TO COMMEMORATE NATIONAL PATRIOT DAY AND NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE AND REMEMBRANCE
The LAX Gateway pylons along Century Boulevard and the recently installed color lightband running throughout the Central Terminal Area at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be lit red, white and blue this weekend, beginning at dusk tonight to dawn on Saturday, then on Saturday night to Sunday morning, and again on Sunday night to Monday morning.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS PROVIDES SOUND INSULATION FUNDING FOR PROJECTS IN INGLEWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

FIRST INSTALLMENT—Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) representatives present a $10 million ceremonial check to the Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) for its Classroom Noise Mitigation Program during the District’s board meeting.
