Artworks include photograph collages, paintings, and a customized rickshaw.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY - - SOUTHBOUND SEPULVEDA TUNNEL PARTIALLY CLOSED

NEW 12,700-SQUARE FOOT - REFRIGERATION UNIT OPENS AT LAX; LOS ANGELES IS BECOMING NEW HUB FOR FLOWER INDUSTRY SUPPLY CHAIN

MEDIA ADVISORY: LAX GATEWAY PYLONS TO GO DARK IN SUPPORT OF INTERNATIONAL EARTH HOUR, SATURDAY, MARCH 28

The 100-foot-tall LAX Gateway pylons that illuminate the entrance to Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX), will light solid green one hour before Earth Hour on Saturday, March 28. Then, during Earth Hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the pylons will be turned off as part of a coordinated worldwide effort to raise public awareness of climate change and the need for energy conservation.

FORMER LAX ELEVATOR MECHANIC SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS FOR HUMAN SMUGGLING

(Los Angeles, California -- February 24, 2009) – An elevator mechanic formerly employed by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for smuggling foreign nationals into the United States by bypassing established security at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
